Cyanotic fall tour, live video and DJ set

Its been just under a year since the psychotranshumanoid west coast tour featuring the power trio of Acumen Nation, DJ? Acucrack and Cyanotic. It was almost three weeks of the best times we have had on the road, sharing the stage and the road with the acu-crew, we were like a roaming tribe of industrial frat boys.

We are all smiles today, with news that the psychotranshumanoid east coast edition will be happening from November 6th through the 22nd. Right before winter bites everybody in the ass and sends people into hibernation, Acumen Nation, DJ? Acucrack and Cyanotic will be hitting the stage with a full audio/visual assault, complete with lights, video and a whole lot of retro-industrial swagger.

We are very happy to announce that Eris (from Born into Oblivion) has joined Cyanotic as a permanent member on live drums. He’s been a huge help since joining up for the 16 Volt tour in June and we have nothing short of praise for the guy. Its a great time for Cyanotic right now, finally solidifying our lineup that has been constantly in rotation since our inception. He’s definitely helpful in “bringing the heavy”, as we like to say, adding that extra layer of human rhythm atop all the machine beats and alien noises.

New live footage from our show in Milwaukee, WI last weekend. “Sensory Overload” on YouTube. Check it.

The last incarnation of the psychotranshumanoid tour was the best experience we have had on the road in our five years of playing live, so we have high hopes that this excursion will be just as great. Remember that as cliche as it might sounds, its the fans that make it worthwhile for us bands, it would mean a lot less to us if we were playing empty rooms every night, so keep that in mind. Downloadable fliers are available HERE — help spread the word and make it worthwhile for us road worn rock bands.

Its been a couple of monumental years for us, having the chance to tour/hang out with our biggest influences and meet so many great people along the way, its given us the inspiration to keep going and given our lives a real purpose. Being on the road is the ultra experience, like a lifetime of memories in just a couple weeks. We can’t wait to get back out on the road and see some familiar faces.

As a final note to those of you in the Chicago area, Sean Payne will be playing a DJ set at Smart Bar (located directly below Metro, if you have never been there) along with Cringer and Boy13 at 10pm on Wednesday, August 27 as part of the Radio Active monthly industrial event. If that’s not reason enough to come out, there will also be $2 PBR cans, $3 SoCo, $3 Jack Daniels and free pizza.
